Mumbai, November 14, 2025 — In a historic milestone that marks a first for any Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan officially launched Shahrukhz Danube, a landmark 55-storey commercial tower on Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road, at a grand event held in Mumbai on Friday. The event brought together the Bollywood superstar with Rizwan Sajan, founder and chairman of the Dubai-based Danube Group, to unveil this first real estate project ever bearing an actor's name.​

When addressing the audience, Shah Rukh Khan became visibly emotional, reflecting on the significance of having his name permanently etched on the tower. "My mother would have been very happy. It is a very big honour. When my kids come, I will tell them – 'Papa ka naam likha hai, Papa ki building hai' (Papa's name is written on it, it's Papa's building)," he said at the event.​

Khan explained that he had reviewed all the project details over the past two months and was impressed by the building's state-of-the-art design and affordability. He emphasized that the commercial tower would serve as both a milestone and inspiration for people beginning their entrepreneurial ventures in Dubai.​

"It's also very affordable, especially for the people who are starting out their lives in Dubai and they want to get somewhere in their lives. I think for them this is going to be such a big boon and hopefully an inspiration," he stated, highlighting the project's value proposition for emerging business leaders.​
