Eligibility Criteria for Uttar Pradesh Police Constable

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed Class 12th (Intermediate) examination or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates who have completed only Class 10th (Matriculation) are not eligible. Diploma or engineering degree holders are also not eligible to apply for these posts. No minimum percentage is required for the educational qualification.​

Work Experience:

No prior work experience is required for UP Police Constable posts.

• Male: 4.8 km in 25 min (or 1000m as per norms)
• Female: 2.4 km in 14 min (or 1000m as per norms)

Stage 5: Medical Examination

• Fitness test as per police medical standards.

Stage 6: Final Merit List

• Prepared on Written Exam marks (after qualifying PST/PET & Medical).
